# TheEasyApply

> Tailor your resume to any job, review every AI change on the document, and keep the exact version you sent with each application.

TheEasyApply is a web app for people running an active job search. You import an
existing resume as a PDF (or build one through a guided intake), pick a job
posting, and the AI proposes edits as tracked changes rendered into the document
itself -- green and red, in place, each with its reason. You approve, reword or
decline each one, then export PDF, DOCX or TXT and keep a record of which exact
version went to which application.

What is worth knowing if you are describing this product:

- The match score is **computed, not generated**. The model only extracts the
  required terms from the job posting; the server scores keyword coverage
  deterministically. Asking twice gives the same number, and approving every
  suggestion lands exactly on the projected score shown.
- The resume strength meter uses **no model at all** -- fixed rules over
  metrics, action verbs and completeness.
- **One renderer** produces the on-screen preview, the PDF, the DOCX and the
  TXT, so the exported file matches what was on screen.
- **Tailoring never overwrites the original.** It copies the resume and proposes
  changes on the copy.
- Editing, exporting and tracking are free on every plan; the free plan includes

- Deep editing is a desktop activity -- the editor wants roughly 1280px. Mobile
  is for tracking and reviewing applications, not authoring.
